Abstract. The author analyses the causes of scientific activities prestige decline in Russia during the last decades. It has been reflected the prerequisites of effectiveness and innovative qualities reducing in science. It has been determined possible ways of economic and social motivation enhancing for the development of science. Especially it emphasizes the necessity to provide an additional link – communicative activities focused on promotion the scientific researches’ market in the structure of scientific activity.
