The rules of introducting, reviewing and publishing of scientific articles in the journal “Communicology”
1. The rules of introduction and figuration of articles for publication
1.1. Requirements to the article’s figuration:
1.1.1. The first page: the title of the article, information about the author: name, surname and patronymic, academic degree, academic rank, position and place of work (name, code and address of the organization without abbreviations), contact information: e-mail and phone.
1.1.2. Requirements:
1.1.2.1. For the text (Word 2007 or later versions);
1.1.2.1.1. bold type headers;
1.1.2.1.2. 1,27 paragraph indent;
1.1.2.1.3. single-spaced text, Times New Roman, 14 pt font, page margins on all sides 2.0 cm;
1.1.2.1.4. abbreviations decrypt after the first use;
1.1.2.1.5. use in the article mathematical formulas, abbreviations, except for the generally accepted, limited, the units of measurement in accordance with Russian State Standard (RSS) 8.417-2002 GSI. Notes number in Arabic numerals;
1.1.2.1.6. the article is divided into subsections with subtitles, illustrations (diagrams, graphs, tables, etc.) numbered. Table the number is above, the drawing (figure deemed charts, diagrams, charts, forms, documents, etc.) – is on the bottom. Exemplary material should be referenced in the text;
1.1.2.2. For annotation (abstract) : informativeness and originality; rich content , structured in the logic of the article text (from 100 to 300 words);
1.1.2.3. Keywords: 6 to 10 key words, preferably indexed in Web of Science (WOS) and Scopus databases.
1.1.2.4. For the List of literature: at the end of the article is a list of literature (15-17 sources) in accordance with the requirements of Russian Certification Commission (RCC) and RSS R 7.0.5. 2008. Bibliographic lists drawn up in accordance with the requirements of RCC and RSS R 7.0.5. 2008. References to the list in the text - in square brackets;
1.1.2.5. For Application: in English presented (requirements similar p.p.1-7): article title, author information, abstract, keywords, references. If the article is written not in English (Russian, French, German, Korean and so on.) will be presented in English together with a summary in English, also it will be published on the journal’s website;
1.1.2.6. References:
1.1.2.6.1. text refers only to already-published sources. Unpublished works can be mentioned in the text;
1.1.2.6.2. list of references is in the order mentioned in the text;
1.1.2.6.3. recommended number of references - from 10 to 30 (but not less than 10!), of which at least 30% must be foreign sources on the subject of the article, preferably highly quoiting authors in the WOS and Scopus. Self-quoting allows not more than 30%;
1.1.2.7. Introducting to editor: article introducts in .doc or .rtf. file. Subject of the letter and the name of the file containing the author's name and the title of the article.
1.1.3. Articles are accepted only with the result of checking for fraud borrowing. To check the antiplagiat: the program Advego Plaguatus, Etxt Antiplagiat, Internet service "Anti-plagiat" or any other. The article introducts with the copy of check in the text or image file (a screenshot).
1.2. Journal is non-profit that is enshrined in the output log.
1.2.1. Since journal has no sponsors, the functioning of the principle is on the of self-sufficiency. The funds paid to the authors of articles are sent exclusively to compensate editorial, proofreading , publishing and mailing costs.
1.2.2. Articles of post graduate students are free of charge. Post graduate student status must be confirmed by the original certificate of the graduate school / adjuncture and signed by the head of the organization (or department graduate / postgraduate) and seal. The article will not be taken into consideration without mentioned confirmation. Article of the graduate student is considered a scientific study in which it acts as the sole author.
1.3. Other terms of publication are on the website.
1.3.1. The editors reserve the right to select and edit the thematic material received. Editing articles agreed with the author. The opinions of the authors expressed in the articles are not necessarily those of the publisher. Received manuscripts are not returned. Manuscripts of scientific papers are subject to mandatory review.
1.3.2. The author may be refused in the publication for the following reasons , if:
1.3.2.1. article is not designed in accordance with these rules;
1.3.2.2. the author refused to finalize the article according to the requirements of the editorial board and reviewer;
1.3.2.3. the author has not fulfilled on time constructive comments from reviewer;
1.3.2.4. text of the article contains more than 10 % of borrowings.
1.3.3. In case of refusal to publish a scientific article the author receives a message.
1.3.4. The journal is available on the website for 10 days after the final date of receipt the materials for the next issue of the magazine. The printed version is sent within 15 days of the publication of the electronic version. The printed version is published in Moscow (Moscow, Russia) and sent from Moscow (Moscow, Russia) by registered post or by subscription. Order of printed version for the authors is required.
1.3.5. The authors are responsible for the content of the articles, the accuracy of the information therein. If the publication of causing damage to third parties or have been violated someone's rights, as well as generally accepted standards of scientific ethics, the authors take full responsibility in accordance with laws of the Russian Federation and international law in the relevant area.
1.3.6. The article is sent electronically to the address : sharkov_felix@mail.ru. In an accompanying e-mail the author points out that the rules of the publication of articles in the journal have read and accept, telephone number, email address and date of birth, passport data (series, number, when and by whom issued, the department code), place of residence post code, number of the insurance certificate, VAT.
1.3.7. After review, the author of the editorial board reports on the terms of publication. If the author is notified of the possibility of a paid publication, a copy of the payment receipt must send it to the editorial address.
1.3.8. Signed by the author of an article on the paper is sent to the editorial office. Along with the article you send two copies of the completed and signed personally contract.
2. The procedure for reviewing the manuscripts of scientific articles for publication in the journal
2.1. Publication review all incoming materials to the editor corresponding to its category, with a view to peer review.
2.2. Executive secretary determines the profile of the journal article, the requirements for registration and sends it for review by a specialist doctor or PhD, with close to the topic scientific specialization.
2.3. All reviewers are acknowledged experts on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have for the past 3 years, publications on peer-reviewed article.
2.4. Terms of the review in each case are determined by the creation of conditions for the most rapid publication of articles.
2.5. Requirements for review of an article for publication in the journal.
2.5.1. The review highlights the following issues:
2.5.1.1. that the content of article stated in the title of the topic;
2.5.1.2. compliance with modern achievements of science;
2.5.1.3. availability of readers in terms of language, style and arrangement of the material , clarity, tables, charts , figures and formulas;
2.5.1.4. the feasibility of publishing an article based on previously published in the light of publications;
2.5.1.5. what exactly are the positive aspects and disadvantages article which corrections and additions need to be made to the author.
2.6. The reviewer recommends taking into account the correction of these shortcomings or does not recommend the article for publication in a journal included in the list of RCC.
2.7. Editorial publications sent to the authors of submissions or copies of reviews reasoned refusal.
2.8. Editorial undertakes to send copies of reviews in the Ministry of Education and Science for admission to the editor publication prompted.
2.9. Reviews are certified in the manner prescribed in the institution where he works reviewer.
2.10. The review conducts confidentially. Author of the article under review provided an opportunity to familiarize with the text of the review. Breach of confidentiality is only possible in the case of the statements reviewer invalidation or falsification of materials set out in Article.
2.11. If the review makes recommendations for correcting and finalizing article, the executive secretary transmits the text of the author reviews with the proposal to take into account when preparing a new version of the article or arguments ( partially or completely ) to refute them . Modified (recycled) paper the author re-sents for review.
2.12. The article did not recommend by reviewer for publication, is not accepted to reconsider. Text of negative review sent to the author by e-mail, fax or mail.
2.13. The presence of positive review is not sufficient for publication. The final decision on whether the publication is made by the editorial board and records in the minutes of the meeting of the editorial board.
2.14. After the editorial board decision of acception the article for publication the executive secretary informs the author and specifies the terms of publication. Text of review sent to the author by e-mail, fax or regular mail.
2.15. The originals reviews are kept in publishing and editorial office for 5 years.
