Abstract: Having assumed the concept of information society as a basis of development of modern society, modern developed countries proclaimed production, distribution and consumption of information by the priority sphere of development of national economies. The author of article proves that society still remains social system that is confirmed by transformation of a social discourse.
The author specifies that development of scientific and technical progress determined also development of mass media, and, therefore, information acts as a fixed asset of social communication which acts as its interpretation. The author opens opportunities and the prospects of development of modern society within single information and communicative space.
