Abstract: Based on a survey conducted in April-June of the current year among 500 students of two institutions of higher education, the article treats, emerged under the conditions of modern communication relations, clear signs in attitudes of students social environment, on the one hand indifference towards politics, on the other smouldering activism. It’s inadequate and inappropriate to say that today the indifference towards politics will remain stuck. The situation is changing; students today are not only influenced by the already existing circumstances, but also under external and internal information as well as misinformation. The structure and principles of attitude and expectations of students may change dramatically, as a tempting offer has been made for this cohort of population and voters: aggressively join the policy of renewal (political, economical, ideological, human resources), based on traditional values and democratic election procedures or trigger this process by a revolution and changing the political regime. The result of the study is a suggestion to discuss in terms of the specified approach the students’ reactions and attitude to current political developments, especially towards 2016 elections.

Key words: political communication, communication among students, students’ attitude toward 2016 elections.
