Abstract:The article investigates Internet communications and the most widespread communicative practices in the students environment. It represents the data of the sociological research “The Internet in Life of Students” undertaken by authors in September-November, 2015. The young people, students of humanities in Moscow, took part in the survey. The research revealed that
all the respondents actively use Internet. Young people, who’s growing up occurred together with the Internet, have essential advantages before the senior generation. They orient themselves perfectly in it: they are aware of its opportunities and dangers. New channels of communication in the Internet not only create favorable information environment, but constantly developing, bring interpersonal communication to new levels, promoting formation of solidarity groups and increasing public activity of students.
