The conversation was held in a cordial atmosphere, because it is not the first time when Professor Gwynn M Powell visit the Presidential Academy. In the summer of 2013 she visited the Institute of State Service and Human Resources and became an expert in several significant events, and also gave her agreement for participate as a member of the editorial Board of the journal «Communicology» (http://www.communicology.us).
The visit of missis Gwynn M. Powell to Academy was held as a part of agreement, achieved last summer, about the involvement of students the Institute of State Service and Human Resources and American students (10 people on each side) in a cooperative business game about topical issues on the playground of the Institute of State Service and Human Resources in March 2014.
The program which called methodological support and script of the business game «THE CONSTRUCTIVE DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE AUTHORITIES AND SOCIETY IN THE INTERNET COMMUNICATIONS» was developed by L. Vasilenko, the professor of the department of public relations and media policy.
During the «business breakfast» the Dean of the faculty SSHR Alexander Turchynov and the Professor of Clemson University (USA) Gwynn M Powell shared his impressions about already held events and suggest some ideas about strengthening a cooperation between Clemson University (USA) and SSHR of the RANEPA, in particular, about perspectives of international projects; new technologies and practical solutions to achieve business success; implementation of the program of exchange of teachers and students of both universities, as well as training in the dual degree programs and other issues.
A deputy of the head of Department of public relations and media policy of SSHR V. Kuznetsov, a Professor of the Department of public relations and media policy of SSHR L. Vasilenko, an associate Professor of public relations and media policy of SSHR, Member of the Editorial Board of the Communicology journal L. Levkina took part in the meeting.
