Abstract. The paper is dedicated to the genesis of communication studies in the development of anthropo-techno sphere and digital technologies. The author reveals the most significant prospects for further complication of the structure of communicology, expanding its research capabilities in the study of socio-humanitarian projection of convergent technologies.
