The Problem of National Identity in the French Youth Society: sociological analysis

Abstract.  The problem of preserving the national identity in France is a crucial problem in the era of globalization and migration. Hence, we witness this problem in the whole Europe. It is called the erosion of the traditional value kernel. In 19th century, Europe was able to present a real model for adaptation of migrants as a great culture with a decent a system of values, the ways of life, clear system of moral norms and spiritual foundations. The author briefly reveals the historical factor of the French identity formation, its principles and priorities, and considers the ethno-demographic dynamics of society and sociological polls.
