Abstract: The article highlights the key problems associated with the activities of new political parties in Russia, which appeared in the electoral process. To name a few small parties that may gain up to two per cent in the elections to the State Duma September 18, 2016. We consider the activities of the All-Russian political party “Rodina”, the Communist Party of Communists of Russia, Russian Ecological Party “The Greens” political party “Civil Force”, the Russian United Democratic Party “Yabloko” and other small parties.
