Abstract:The author develops a new scientific direction – reputation management, which is a type of social governance. The article deals with various aspects of reputation management in the context of modern means of mass communication, which gave impetus to the development of the information
society. The author proposes to look at the existing socio-economic problems from the perspective of communication gaps that cause serious reputational risks.
