IV international sociological conference "Continuing Grushin"

Let us inform you, that on the 27-28th of February, 2014
the IV international sociological conference "Continuing Grushin" will take place.

 We invite teachers, graduate students and students of faculty of IGSUP for participation in the conference, and also in section " Manpower policy in public administration: is it reply to time calls? " (moderator is A.Turchinov). The registration is available on the official site of Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) http://wciom.ru/conference2014/

 Conference keynotes:
1) a problem of trust to sociology;
2)  quality of sociological data; 
3)  new methodologies and technics of researches.

I.  The plenary session devoted to the problem of trust to sociology.

III.  Round-table discussions: 
(1) "Versus "forming polls" sociology: technologies, borders, sanctions" 
(2) "Automation of mass surveys: modern methods, paperless technologies"
(3) «Automation of telephone surveys: modern approaches to data recording»  

  IV. Master classes of leading Russian and foreign scientists (I. Steinberg, M.Traugott, E.Ponarin).

 V. The rewarding of winners of the 5th competition of student's works on sociology on a grant of Russian Public Opinion Research Center.

 Following the results of conference the collection of the theses will be published. The most interesting materials will be published of the scientific magazine of Russian Public Opinion Research Center "Monitoring of public opinion:  economic and social changes". 
Participants of conference will receive special certificates.
